Today's review will be of three different phone games. I thoroughly enjoy all three of these games and they can all be found in the app store. The three games that I will be reviewing for the Android phone, or tablet, are Cartoon Wars, Temple Run, and Medieval Castle Defense.
The first of these games will be my favorite, Cartoon Wars.
The photo above is of an outdated version so it looks a bit different but it really is quite amazing. The point of the game is to free the black and white characters (you) from oppression. They are being oppressed by the Color tribe and you must use your units to destroy their castle. A flawed storyline? Maybe but you don't play phone games for the storyline. You play them because they are FUN, which is exactly what this is. After a while though the game does get a bit repetitive but once you stop for a while and decide to go back it seems fresh. There are many different units and the 14 upgrades for each of them. Add in the fact that you can upgrade to tower, gold production, and unit cool down, it makes for lots of fun that is impossible to put down for a while. Think of it as a tower defense game, but a different kind of monster than the rest of them.

The next one on the docket is Temple Run.
This one is a very fun and interactive game for the phone. Upon it's release, it was only iPhone for a while and was released on the Play Store not too long ago. What makes this game fun is the fact that you, the player, is almost always having to do something. Whether you are leaning to get coins, jumping over gaps or fire, ducking under trees, or leaning to avoid half broken areas of tower floor. This game has many upgrades as well and keeps you entertained.

Last but not least, is Medieval Castle Defense.
This game is really nothing different from other classic castle defense games (definitely different from Cartoon Wars) but I did pick it for a few reasons. For one, it is free and that's always a big bonus. For two, I really like the presentation of it. And three, I'm sick of Angry Birds always being the one everyone always reviews.
