Review of Ted

Ted

Although it probably isn't going to be the biggest smash box office hit but in my opinion it is the funniest movie released since Hangover. The first one. Ya know, the one that was good and not just redone.

This movie works on every level that it tries and it feels great to say that Seth MacFarlane's film debut is a success. It is some mindless fun with A LOT of jokes. The theater I was in was laughing non-stop the entire time. If you even slighty enjoy Family Guy, American Dad, or the Clevland Show, you will enjoy Ted. So here is a plot run down and as Green says, spoiler free.

The movie starts telling about how Ted came to be alive. From there it goes right into where the meat of the story is. Mila Kunis, who is Mark Wahlberg's girlfriend, says that Ted is dragging him down and basically it boils down to Mark trying to grow up and be in a relationship as well as keeping his childhood friend. Even if you replaced Ted with a stupid human friend and changed a few lines of dialouge it would still be decent. The teddy bear voice by Seth MacFarlane just makes it better.

9.5 potty-mouthed teddy bears outta 10
